Why an Education Entrepreneur Created a Token: The Starting Point of the Ganadara Token

19 Jan 2026

Lee Hyun-jun, CEO of Ekaise, who has spent more than two decades in the education business, describes himself as “someone who has only ever worked in education.”

From private academies and educational content to platforms, lectures, and authorship, his career is less a list of flashy titles and more an accumulation of time spent relentlessly digging into a single field: education.

The recently unveiled “Ganadara Token (GNDK)” is not a sudden pivot, he explains, but a choice that emerged naturally from this long continuum of experience.

GNDK, as he envisions it, is not merely a payment method or a reward point system. Rather, it is a token designed to ensure that a learner’s accumulated study history, participation data, and contributory activities within the platform remain connected within a single, coherent structure. In conventional education services, learning outcomes and records tend to disappear once a course ends.

GNDK, by contrast, serves as a unit of value that links and preserves these activities in an accumulative form.
